Troika & Onedotzero; Research

Troika's Digital Zoetrope was created for onedotzero, asa custom installation and visual identity for last years Adventures in Motion festival, and has also been exhibited at the current Decode exhibition at the V&A. The content features RSS feeds from online sources; allowing for the information depicted to be constantly changing and updating. The type (Wim Crouwel's Gridnik - a pioneer of digital typefaces) comes into and out of focus, depending on the zoetropes cycle; providing for an interesting, beautifully realised aesthetic, with ephemeral yet intriguing content, a combination which works successfully within various examples.

The piece forms an initial illustration of the possibilities within interactive typography; demonstrating how audience can inform content, but also admire the products of such a process. See a more detailed coverage of the installation here.
